Georgia Trial Attorney & Legal Innovator
We fight to set an entirely new standard in our profession—where clients are treated with true honor, extraordinary care, and unreasonable hospitality, and insurance companies are met with ruthless, unmatched preparation.
Ibrahim Awad decided to become an attorney long before law school. As a high schooler, Mr. Awad was the cornerstone of his school's mock trial team, leading them to their first Regional Championship in over a decade. After graduating near the top of his class, he attended Dalton State College and began working at the District Attorney's Office in Whitfield County.
As an undergraduate, Mr. Awad assisted in the prosecution of over 100 felony cases, including more than a dozen child molestation jury trials, and a murder trial. After earning his Associate's Degree in English from Dalton State College, Mr. Awad transferred to Kennesaw State University to continue his education and receive a Bachelor's Degree in English; he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
After Kennesaw State, he attended Georgia State College of Law, where he furthered his real-life legal experience by interning at the DeKalb County Solicitor General's Office. While there, Mr. Awad worked with the Special Victims Unit as well as other Trial Attorneys. He was also an active member of the Student Trial Lawyers Association, where he competed in prestigious trial advocacy competitions across the country, including in Buffalo, New York and Memphis, Tennessee.
During his third year of law school, Mr. Awad worked as a registered mediator under the third-year practice act, resolving complex civil disputes inside courtroom structures. This early experience in negotiation and dispute resolution laid the groundwork for his strategic approach to personal injury cases.
Since founding The Awad Law Firm, Ibrahim has dedicated his career to fighting for the rights of injured individuals. He has recovered over $70 million for personal injury victims throughout Georgia, demonstrating time and again that meticulous, trial-ready case preparation is the key to breaking insurance company resistance.
